Written in the style of a memoir, Clarity is the story about the struggle of many youths now and in the future. Jonah Cullen, a disaffected, teenager living in a dystopian America, toils to find his purpose in life. In this world, a person's purpose is the most crucial factor for society to function. The greater good is the only good. However, to his fortune, he comes across a revolutionary treatment called Clarity that promises to fix all of his lacking traits. This change comes at a price forcing Jonah to reconcile what his true desire in life is: satisfying the needs of the many or fighting for himself.
